Before joining the business, I’d been working as a freelance designer. I’d expected a fast-paced working environment here, but I didn’t imagine I’d be working on so many new designs – and that’s been a massive bonus for my career progression.

A typical day might consist of creating packaging designs and marketing materials. I’ll often start by checking how many items of artwork still need to be completed. It’s a good idea to set yourself a target of how much you’ll complete in a day. Work varies from Point Of Sale materials that you find in our stores to creating web icons for the internet.

I’ve found the training and development great here. I started as a junior, but soon progressed beyond that. I managed to learn so much within a short amount of time. Now I know I could manage a team of my own one day.

I’ve been with the company for two years now, and I can truly say that it’s been fantastic. The people are friendly, it’s a great place to work and while it’s hard work, it’s fun too. I love going into a store and seeing products I’ve designed.
